Life is full of challenges, some of which may cause you to feel overwhelmed, stuck or lost. It takes courage to be vulnerable and let another person know your pain and struggles, and I am honored to hold that space for you. I will work with you collaboratively, within a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere, to foster change, growth and healing. My number one priority is for you to feel heard, validated, and understood. As we work together, I will assist you with creating personal goals that increase your sense of life satisfaction. I am eclectic in my use of therapeutic techniques and draw from evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Strength-Based Therapy, positive psychology and trauma informed care.
I work with adults and teens who are seeking a new way to work through and cope with depression, anxiety, relationships, grief, life transitions, trauma, addiction, and general life struggles that are creating a sense of unhappiness. Change can be a very positive part of life; it can also be hard. I believe in you and your ability to overcome the challenges in your life and make meaningful changes that allow for you to experience happiness and peace.
