Life is a journey of ups and downs, and Katie is here to help you navigate those.

Katie has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with anxiety and depression. Katie enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and families who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life changes and transitions, co-parenting difficulties, marriage/couples problems, low self-esteem, stress, and OCD. Additionally, Katie provides ADHD assessments and evaluations through Sherman Counseling’s PACER clinic.

Katie takes an eclectic approach to therapy, meeting her clients where they are in their life journey. Her therapeutic interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and ERP. She offers sessions through individual, family, couples, and parent-training counseling. Katie is very education focused, believing that knowledge and tools are the power to successful treatment.

Katie is a Licensed Professional Counselor, earning her master’s degree in Counseling from Lakeland College. In her free time, Katie enjoys painting, reading, and chasing her 2 young, energetic sons around. A few of Katie’s favorite things include Golden Retrievers, coffee, and live music.
