Marcia received her Masters degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin and has been providing Individual, Couples and Family counseling for over 30 years.
I knew I wanted to be a counselor early in life and have been the person family and friends would come to for comfort and guidance. I have a compassionate approach to therapy but will give a gentle nudge if warranted to help move a client toward health.
I have an eclectic approach using various forms of therapy. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as it is best practice in treating anxiety and depression. I utilize EMDR and Brain Spotting for trauma. Together we build a trusting relationship to help my clients tap into the power of their inner strength and obtain a better quality of life.
