  • The definition of mindfulness is very simple: Mindfulness is the effort to be present in mind and body with experience.
  • Jon Kabat-Zinn’s is the founder of the Mindfulness program at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. His definition of mindfulness is: “Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way; On purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally.” 

At Sherman Counseling we have many top therapists trained in the art of mindfulness. They will incorporate mindfulness into your therapy sessions and help you.
