Licensed Professional Counselor

The first steps towards counseling can be vulnerable but I believe you are fierce and brave. It’s important to me that my clients feel heard and leave our sessions feeling relief, having a new perspective, or ideas for change. Therapy is your space for self-exploration. In therapy, I prioritize taking each individual’s unique identity and experience into consideration in order to work collaboratively toward your goals. It is important that my clients feel understood and heard by me and know that I genuinely care about their individual experience and their overall well-being. I’m accepting, non-judgemental and I strive to radiate feelings of warmth and safety.

I value depth which helps to push my clients to go deeper and discover what is under their symptoms in order to address the real issues and make lasting change. I advocate for my client’s right to a private space for reflection and self-expression where they are also given genuine, honest feedback as well as tools for change.

I have two specialty areas:

  • Eating disorders and body image issues – helping you to feel empowered and rebuild your relationship with food and your body.
  • ADHD and emotion regulation issues in children – teaching tools and skills for young people to better understand their emotions, impulses, and reactions in order to feel more grounded and engaged in life.

I am a licensed professional counselor and I received my masters degree in Counseling Psychology from The Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL. I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I also treat:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Grief and loss
  • Parenting issues/behavior management issues
  • Adjustment issues
